Dumbo the Flying Bunny

What in the place of nations? Its official...Heavenly Father really does have a sense of humor. Our rabbit died on Sunday and we are shopping for a new one. I ran across this on Craigs List. I am not sure what to think of this. I bet it could fly with those ear. My kids are completely creeped out. Poor li'l thing. How does she not step on her ears when she hops around?

Grandma's Hats

Recently, Steve's grandma Nona moved from Sacramento to live with Steve's parents. She broke her back and is needing full time care. But don't let her age of 87, and her 72 pounds fool you. She is full of sunshine and fun. She can really make you laugh. We have had so much fun with her. She saved these hats for my girls. She actually used to wear these. They are precious, and I can tell you that they are not going to end up at the bottom of the "dress up" toy box. What a memory these will hold for my girls and family.

Me and Grams, is blue and silver my color?
Steve's mom, I think she could pull this off...:)

Me and Michaela, I am in the "mourning Catholic hat", if I die tomorrow, I for one would not be offended if you wore this to my funeral. It reeks of sadness...
The bunch - wow, what is the "Muslim" piece that Hilary has on? I thought you were Mexican?

Wowser

This cracked me and Steve up. I would like to post this to honor Michael Jackson and the "legacy" that he has left behind. I love this show. Thanks Hilary for the great laugh. I am so glad to have our cars paid off. Goodness. Do you think Steve would dance like Tina Turner or something if they came and tried to take his Mercedes.? He might!

Twilight the Musical?

This may be the first "musical" that I have ever enjoyed. Who does this? Really? Either people are really obsessed or really bored. Crazyness. BTW - you may want to pop some popcorn. This bugger is 9 min long!

RockBand Rockers

So, as I am catching up on some blogging, I ran across these pictures of us during Christmas getting ready to film our "RockBand" video. We did a great version of "White Wedding" by Billy Idol, and I will upload it as soon as I have a few, but for now, these will have to do. It was a blast to dress up and pretend we were rockers.
***There were no drugs used while in the process of filming this production - other than a high dosage of diet coke, protein shakes, and redbull (for scotty!)
Producers: Steph d'princess Hacking and Hilary Barrera

Crossbone Bunny - Scary!

Michaela got this bunny for her birthday. He is the sweetest thing ever! He even poops in his litter box. I found this shirt yesterday for ferrets at Petco. I didn't think that he would let me put it on him, cuz bunnies are not into that kind of thing - but he did! Your the best Edward. We love you, afterall why have a pet if you can't dress them like a doll, right? The shirt has like a skelton on it for Halloween. I love crap like that!

Ought Oh!

I think that the girls may be wearing off on Dylan. Time for some playdates with some kids of his same sex, cuz dang. Should I be worried?

Okay, after a costume change, things are looking better. This makes more sense, right?

Indiana Jones

Okay, so I know that I am a little Un-American!~ But I have not seen the Indiana Jones movies. Just not my family's kind of thing growing up, you would have to know them to understand. I get teased about this sort of thing all the time and I am sure that if they knew that it was going to bring such a trial into my life, they would have taken me to movies like Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Maybe I would be alive today and love musicals like the rest of you freaks!

So with the new Indiana Jones coming out, Steph thought it would be a good idea to watch some of the old ones to get me "on track". So while Lance was in Malaysia, we did the deed. It is done. And now I can officially say that I am prepared. Good times at the Fuller House.

GPS

"Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful Day..." It is time to start our new job in Steiner Ranch. I made Steph get up and goin' and the "crack of dawn" for her (9:40)...Just Kiddin', (a little).
Anywho, since Steph claims to have a built in GPS, I had her guide me on our way since this location is up in Lakeland in mountains that you didn't even knew were in Austin. Are we even in Texas? Seriously...She told me to turn on 2244, which is really the same as FM620 according to her GPS. So I did, and we drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and NO Steiner. But we saw these lovely "Pelicans" on the corner of 360, which clearly is not on the way to Steiner Ranch. Okay, so I learned that they are not called "Pelicans", I guess they are Flamingo's. 2244/620, Pelicans/Flamingo's, it's all the same, right?
So as we are driving for a million years through sweet Austin, Steph keeps saying, "Oh, look, that is what I want on my house, see those doors? See that tile? See that rot iron? See? See? See?

"That patio, that is on my house too. What a coincidence!"

"That is my Roof"

"I can't believe it, that is going to be my new Chapel!"

After making our journey, I asked Steph what she really meant a built in GPS. She said, "It means, Going Place's Somewhere!" Hello? And that we did. We went places, somewhere. But how can you be upset when you have a friend that writes you commercials. Here is the newest Mastercard commercial to express our day. I am thinking that Steph could make way more money writing commercials for Mastercard, than removing wallpaper. It is suicide people!

Therapy because of a friend that drives you crazy-$150.00

Tearing off wallpaper in millions of tiny pieces-$250.00

Gas for 1 1/2 hours of driving because you took a wrong turn-$75.00

Lunch at Wendy's because you were starving and had the shakes- $10.00

Spray bottle of wallpaper remover that ran out-$4.00

Huge bottle of wallpaper remover- $30.00

Cute little mittens to spread the huge bottle of wallpaper remover on the wall- $7.00

Doing all of this with my best friend while laughing our heads off--priceless

Womanhood

So yesterday, Michaela had the "Mystery Sickness" and stayed home from school. I had to run to the grocery store and as we were shopping, we ran across the Tampon/Diaper Aisle. Love that aisle. As I was chucking tampons into my cart, Michaela started to giggle and said, "Boy I am so glad that I don't have to deal with that. It is disgusting Mom!"

I told her, "Well little miss, you WILL have to deal with it soon enough, so enjoy it now - and don't make fun of me!"

She said, "What?"

"Um, yeah. You will have to do this too in a few years, probably when you are 11 or 12."

"Are you serious, that soon? Will I grow hair?"

"Yup!"

"Oh no, I will have none of that, I will just have to shave it off!"

First off, I wanted to fall over laughing, but we were in the grocery store and so I had to keep my cool. Not the place I invisioned as our "becoming a woman" conversation." One thing I can say about Michaela is she knows what she wants, and what she doesn't. It was so funny. Good Times...

What makes me Tic

So, I have finally learned this past few years, that laughing is the key to my personal happiness. I love to laugh. I find it very therapeutic. I wish that I would have caught on to this in my early 20's or even when I was a teenager, that would have been extra helpful. I not only would have been a funner person to be around, but probably a much happier person as well.
Even though I have the most annoying cackle, I have to use it. Especially when I am with good friends. There are a couple people that can put me in hysteric's, like to the point that I am crying and may just need to sit on a piece of newspaper. Serious. One is Jan Mason. Holy Crap! I don't know why, but she can just say one word, like CRAZY, and I start giggling. Another is my friend Lorena. We have had our moments where we are on a serious roll, and I do wet my pants. But most of all, Stephanie. I know most of you want to gag, cuz you have heard enough about the Hackings. Well, if you don't want to hear about them, then invite us somewhere and I will have something else to write about! Cuz, Dang. Simple things like this. I recorded the tail end of this, and I am sure it is one of those things that you had to be there. But I want it as a reminder.
This is on the way to Blue Man Group. We were talking about that show Man vs. Wild.

Shopping

I have been doing a LOT of shopping lately. Infact Amex shut be down! Yeah, they called yesterday and told Steve they were putting a hold on my card because the balance was too high and they didn't think that I could pay it! Considering this is a card that doesn't have a limit, you can imagine how bad things must be.

Fortunately, MOST, of the shopping is not for me. So I don't have to pay that bill! I went to Hobby Lobby for the upteenth time the other day and dragged Stephanie along with me. I have been very sick this week and was not enjoying myself. She tried to cheer me up with some nice Christmas Earrings. (which perhaps I may have worn in the 9th grade!)

101 Facts about ME!

Natalie did this and I didn't think that I could think of 101 things about myself. We all surprise ourselves sometimes!

UCLA Study

Although I wasn't part of this study, I related to it somewhat. Especially since "menstration" is such a touchy subject for me. I think I just need to have my inners yanked out. I am so tired of being in pain 3 out of 4 weeks of the month. TMI, I know...now you know why I always have such a sweet disposition...
A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has
revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can
differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.
For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a spear lodged in his chest while he is on fire. No further studies are expected.

Balloons

Have you ever seen balloons like this? This guy "blew" me away. Haa haa. Anyways, some of the things he came up with were amazing. These were more of his "simple" things. He is at Waterloo on Tuesday nights. Check him out! He also does B-day Party's.
