Ravioli Soup

So last night I was very low on weight watcher points and needed something fast and yummy for dinner. I made up this recipe and every now and then they actually turn out. This was very yummy and pretty low cal. Fast too! I will get a picture posted of it soon.

Buitoni small raviolis (found in the fresh pasta section by the cheese, ect.)
Campbells Tomato Bisque soup
Kraft grateable parmasan cheese (this is the best, you need to buy it)

I cooked the ravioli and put the soup on top. Then grated a little parm. cheese on it. I made cheese quesadillas for the rest of the family (for dipping), but I stuck to the soup. It was filling and perfect. And the great thing, only about 350 calories and 6 grams of fat. I was good for the rest of the night.

Grilled Chicken

So I thought I would start bloggin on some of my favorite low-fat snacks and great/fast recipes. Well "fast" is a questionable word when dealing with cooking dinner. I got this recipe from Rachel Rays 30 minute meals. But in my opinion, 30 minutes is a heck of a long time to be in the kitchen cooking. Unfortunately, if you want a great meal that has any health to it at all, you are going to have to spend sometime chopping and prepping in that kitchen. She did some sort of a slaw with this too, but I wasn't a big fan. So here is the scoop on this wonderful chicken:

2 chicken breast (I cut my thick breast in 1/2 sideways making them supper thin pieces, and they slurp up the marinade better.)
1 C teriaki marinade (looks like soy sauce, but teriaki instead)
2 T misc. grill seasoning
1 T cooking oil

Put all this in a zip lock bag and marinade for about 30 minutes. That is really all it takes. I grill this and it is delicous. Your fam will dig it. Seems really simple, and it is!
