"Snow Biz"

Last Monday, the 3rd graders at Clayton did this really cute production called "Snow Biz". They all had speaking parts and there were some really cute musical numbers. It was funny because Michaela was supposed to wear a snow hat and mittens. She wanted to wear these little mittens and I made her wear these white ones. She fought it a bit, but wore them. They pretty much glowed on the stage. Her hands were huge compared to everyones. It was just funny. Addison wore the matching hat. Very cute...

Nativity

Last Sunday we went to Burnet to the city of Bethlehem. It was a great experience, even in the 30 degree weather! The Baptist church has literally built the city of Bethlehem and throughout it, it has little buildings where they melt candles, weave baskets, ect. Pretty cool. We saw quite a few people from our ward there.

Waiting in line, Conner fell asleep standing up! Okay, so not really. I guess that he has his dad's sense of humor already!
Here I am with Stephanie, closed mouth and all. You know I can't smile around her pearly whites...This is where we waited for our sweet husbands to bring us our Wassail. Of course that never happened for Steph, and Steve brought me a urine sample cup of it. Guess if we really want something, we are going to have to take matters into our own hands!

A Bad, Bad Day

So without sounding like a drama queen, my day yesterday basically sucked. I think that the stress lately has been getting to me, without even realizing it! I broke down in tears over the roman shade thing, such a baby I am. But, it was quickly slid to the backburner yesterday afternoon when I found this out!
So, for those of you that listen to Mix 94.7, they aired some information about a dirty sick man stalking woman in a brown truck, basically yankin' his thing (can I say that) while he watched them. He has even been caught out of middle schools, ect.
I found out yesterday, HE IS MY NEW NEIGHBOR! Long story short, he has had full blown conversations with my kids! I am feeling sick, guilty, disgusted, you name it, all night long. Read the report:
Phone lines lit up on Mix 94.7 FM Thursday morning as nearly two dozen women called in, giving details of their encounters with a man who was exposing himself. The women reported seeing the man in areas throughout West Lake Hills, and in Bastrop, Lakeline Mall and Barton Creek Square Mall.Investigators may have found their man at the Austin police headquarters.Police have arrested Aaron Dickerson, 58, but not on charges of indecent exposure. They actually served a warrant for his arrest on parole violations. Now, police are hoping any one of Dickerson's alleged victims will come forward and identify him as the man behind several reported indecent exposures. The allegations began flying Thursday morning, as close to 20 women called into the JB & Sandy Morning Show, reporting they had been pursued or saw Dickerson expose himself to them.Police said they were handcuffed to help anyone, because they had not received any criminal complaints from any of the victims.Dickerson did face two prior complaints of inappropriate behavior but could not be charged due to a lack of evidence.Police arrested Dickerson after locating him on the 8100 block of Ladera Verde Drive in Southwest Austin."I talked to him about the fact that they had been talking to him, or they've talking about him quit a bit on the radio station and that I felt that it was probably best at that point that if I took him into custody," said Derek Israel with the Austin Police Department.Police are urging anyone who believes they may have fallen victim to Dickerson to come forward. He drove around in a 1990 two-tone brown and yellow Ford pick-up and committed most of his alleged offenses in it.

Peach Lady

I am in a pickle. I ordered these great woven roman shades for peach ladies game room a couple week ago. After shopping for hours getting bid from $950-$1700, I found the perfect ones for $200 each. I was thrilled. But I guess the excitement led me to type in the wrong numbers! I ordered 32 7/8 instead of 42 7/8! I am out $400.

I just cried today when I opened them and held them up to the window. If I wasn't already tired enough of peach ladies house, this had to happen. Plus, I have removed all chocolate and ice cream from my house so that I don't gain back my weight over the holidays! What was I thinking?

So you if you need some beautiful roman shades at a great price, please let me know - I would be happy to help with that!

Still Life in Gray

So my neighbor recommended this lady (Brandi) to take our family pictures. She is wonderful and has very, very fair prices.

Check out her website at: www.stilllifeingray.com

I highly recommend her!

Lemonade 4-Sale

So I have been trying to catch up on all my "motherly" duties that I have been flaking on lately due to being so busy. Today, Michaela had a double playdate with her old friend Lola and Anna, who his her personal "look-a-like" in her class this year. They wanted to sale popcorn and lemonade outside. They marketed by riding their scooters through the culdesac's and telling kids about it. Every kid was here! We went through a whole container of lemonade and 3 large bags of popcorn. I of course am taking a 10% cut!

CSI

Okay, so the search begins! I am looking for information leading to the suspect that may have slipped this item into my purse. I have reason to believe that it is Steve Fuller, but he is denying these charges at all expenses! So, if you know of anything regarding this incident, please contact me.
Today I found a $115 gift card to Helena's Day Spa in my purse. What is that all about? Who would do such a thing? Since the husband is denying, I thought I would investigate a bit. Anyone?

New Picture Wall

A few weeks ago, I ran into these light sconces at Lowes on sale for $13. What a deal! So I bought them and figured that I would find a place for them at home.

I bought a few new (cheap) frames at target and added to my picture wall upstairs in the gameroom. I still need to cover up the wires from the sconces, but I love how it turned out for the most part. I may change some of the matting in the pics and then I am ordering all new pictures of us in black and white. I am so excited. Love a little change! It makes me feel good.

Womanhood

So yesterday, Michaela had the "Mystery Sickness" and stayed home from school. I had to run to the grocery store and as we were shopping, we ran across the Tampon/Diaper Aisle. Love that aisle. As I was chucking tampons into my cart, Michaela started to giggle and said, "Boy I am so glad that I don't have to deal with that. It is disgusting Mom!"

I told her, "Well little miss, you WILL have to deal with it soon enough, so enjoy it now - and don't make fun of me!"

She said, "What?"

"Um, yeah. You will have to do this too in a few years, probably when you are 11 or 12."

"Are you serious, that soon? Will I grow hair?"

"Yup!"

"Oh no, I will have none of that, I will just have to shave it off!"

First off, I wanted to fall over laughing, but we were in the grocery store and so I had to keep my cool. Not the place I invisioned as our "becoming a woman" conversation." One thing I can say about Michaela is she knows what she wants, and what she doesn't. It was so funny. Good Times...

Tis the Season

So, due to Steve's poison ivy problem, I got stuck doing Christmas lights outside this year. I have had a really bad attitude because my neighbors have gone insane with the blow-ups. They have like 9 in their yard, and it is out of control. I feel like any work I put into our yard will be overshadowed by this Gotti Mess.

I put on the Christmas Cheer and did it anyways. Maybe next year we will get up on the roof! But we kept it simple with our old lights from last year.

Merry Christmas!

Stop Obsessing!

Okay, I had had had to repost. I just can not get satisfied. A sickness - so after being at Hacking house (gag!) and looking at the Pottery Barn Christmas Catalog last night, I had to fix my Christmas decor. Blah! I am reposting to save face. I think I was being a little lazy when I did it the first time, just wanting to get it up. But I can't seriously look at that 'til Christmas.
As I went around changing things last night, Steve said, "Stop Obsessing!"
"I am not obsessing! I am decorating..."
"Same thing - go to bed!"

Order those Christmas Candles

They are here! I poured candles for 5 hours yesterday. I can barely feel my feet.

Anywho, they are going quick. So order your gift candles now, or be selfish and keep 'em for yourself. What is Christmas without the right aroma in your house?

Plus, come on over to my house and get 1/2 off of any fall fragrance in stock. I have several candles left over from my Fall party. You can get an 8 ounce for $4~ can't beat that.

Christmas Time

It's Christmas time at the Fuller's. We put up our tree up the week of Thanksgiving, a little late this year for me. I am always dying to get the tree up, then by Christmas I want to either burn it, or chuck it out the window.

So this year, I had a bit more self control and waited til the end of November. I simplified this year and only put up the things that I loved, we gave the rest away. It is just so much work getting millions of boxes in and out of the attic just to use stuff that you don't really like! Here are the pics:

What makes me Tic

So, I have finally learned this past few years, that laughing is the key to my personal happiness. I love to laugh. I find it very therapeutic. I wish that I would have caught on to this in my early 20's or even when I was a teenager, that would have been extra helpful. I not only would have been a funner person to be around, but probably a much happier person as well.
Even though I have the most annoying cackle, I have to use it. Especially when I am with good friends. There are a couple people that can put me in hysteric's, like to the point that I am crying and may just need to sit on a piece of newspaper. Serious. One is Jan Mason. Holy Crap! I don't know why, but she can just say one word, like CRAZY, and I start giggling. Another is my friend Lorena. We have had our moments where we are on a serious roll, and I do wet my pants. But most of all, Stephanie. I know most of you want to gag, cuz you have heard enough about the Hackings. Well, if you don't want to hear about them, then invite us somewhere and I will have something else to write about! Cuz, Dang. Simple things like this. I recorded the tail end of this, and I am sure it is one of those things that you had to be there. But I want it as a reminder.
This is on the way to Blue Man Group. We were talking about that show Man vs. Wild.

Blue Man Group

Last night was Blue Man Group! What a blast. We started out with dinner at Canolli Joes. It was pretty good, but no rice! Bummer for Stephanie. I ate more dessert than I did dinner, which I can get away with at a buffet. Pretty tasty stuff. Our waiter was a little more than interesting....Hmm, I really don't know what to say about that.

We headed over the the Frank Erwin Center for the show. By the time we hiked from our car to the building, and to our seats, I was a total sweat monkey! I stunk the rest of the night. I stripped as many clothes off as possible. Steve started taking his off too. Stephanie and Lance started to look a little concerned, like we were into getting naked at these events or something. I assured them I would keep my bra on!

My favorite part of the night was as the Blue Men were taking instructions on "how to be a rock band", it talked about the rocker hand. The little guy in front of us got it down pat! So cute...

Dylan's Day at the Main Event

Dylan took his little buddy Jackson to the Main Event yesterday for his Birthday. They had a good time. We bowled and played games for a couple hours. We did the 3-D motion ride, which totally made me sick! Dylan's only concern before the ride started was if it was going to make his bum tingle.?!? I think that it did...
